Dr. James Q. Truong, OD, PhD, FAAO, is an experienced optometrist and scientist with over three decades of dedicated global service to eye care and scientific research. He is a native of Boston, Massachusetts, went to Optometry school in Southern California, and completed his Optometric residency in Tahlequah, Oklahoma (the Capital of the Cherokee Nation).
His distinguished career spans clinical practice and scientific research across the globe, including the USA, Mexico, South Korea, Iraq, Thailand, Trinidad, and other locations. Dr. Truong is a proud Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and holds active memberships in both the American Optometric Association and the Maryland Optometric Association.
He is thrilled to join the teams at Professional Vision in Timonium and Carney, Maryland.
